Personal Data Processing Consent (Mute app)

Version dated July 20, 2026.

> This is an English translation provided for convenience. The legally binding version is the Russian one at https://mymute.app/legal/consent. In case of any discrepancy, the Russian version prevails.

I, a user of the Mute mobile application, acting freely, of my own will and in my own interest, confirming that I am of legal age and have full legal capacity, hereby give my consent:

To the operator: sole proprietor (IP) Fedotova L.V., INN 631107461481, OGRNIP 326632700057690, address: office 414, bldg. 3, 70 Revolyutsionnaya St., Samara, 443023, Russia (the "Operator"),

to process my personal data on the terms below and in the Privacy Policy.

1. Basic consent (Service operation)

Data: the technical device identifier (in hashed form), the access token (in hashed form), subscription data and payment receipts from app stores and payment services (no bank card data), de-identified App usage events, crash reports, technical counters.

Purposes: providing App features, maintaining the account, activating and verifying the subscription, ensuring security and reliability, improving the Service based on de-identified statistics, complying with legal requirements (retention of payment records).

Operations: collection, recording, systematization, accumulation, storage, clarification, retrieval, use, de-identification, blocking, deletion, destruction; by automated means. Storage takes place on servers located in the Russian Federation. Recording, systematization, accumulation, storage, clarification, and retrieval of personal data of Russian citizens are performed using databases located in Russia (Part 5, Art. 18 of 152-FZ).

Retention: statistics — 180 days, crash reports — 90 days, payment receipts — 4 years, everything else — until account deletion or consent withdrawal.

2. AI companion: message processing with de-identification

By using the AI companion (chat) and/or food photo recognition, I consent to the Operator processing the text of my messages and the food photos I submit for the purpose of generating an AI reply. Processing includes automatic de-identification of the text on the Operator's servers in Russia: removal of names, phone numbers, emails, card numbers, government ID numbers, and other identifiers before anything is passed to the language model.

I understand that:

2.1. The language model receives de-identified text only — no identifiers, no account identifier, no link to my identity; such data does not allow anyone to identify me as an individual and does not constitute personal data. Photos are passed to the model for recognition and are not stored.

2.2. Anything I tell the companion in free form (including about my well-being and emotional state), as well as tracker data whose sharing I have enabled via settings toggles (all off by default), is processed in the same way — de-identified before reaching the model. What to share with the companion is entirely my decision.

2.3. If the de-identification function is unavailable, the message is not passed to the model at all.

I may stop using the chat and photo recognition at any time — all other App features remain available.

3. Child data

By entering data about my child into the App (name, date of birth, tracker entries), I act as the child's parent (legal representative) and consent to its processing to the extent needed for App features. I am aware that this data is stored only on my device and is not transmitted to the Operator.

4. Term and withdrawal

This consent is effective from the start of App use until account deletion or withdrawal. It may be withdrawn at any time: by deleting the account in the App settings, or by writing to privacy@mymute.app (include the technical identifier from the App settings, as the Operator stores no other information that could identify me). Upon withdrawal the Operator ceases processing and destroys the data within 30 days, except data whose retention is required by law (anonymized payment receipts — Part 5, Art. 21 of 152-FZ).

Withdrawal under Section 2 is effected by ceasing to use the corresponding features; message history is stored only on my device, and the Operator does not retain transmitted messages.
